The xenon lamp light source used in laboratories emits a continuous spectrum of light, with the main emission range concentrated between 320 nm and 1000 nm. As shown in Figure 1, the harmful light to the human eye mainly includes ultraviolet light in the wavelength range of 320 nm to 400 nm, blue light in the range of 400 nm to 500 nm, and infrared light greater than 780 nm.

To reduce the risk of Xenon lamp light sources harming laboratory personnel's eyes, Perfectlight Technology introduces Perfectlight Technology Light Protection Glasses, which effectively prevent damage to the eyes of laboratory personnel from intense light and ultraviolet radiation.

To compare the light protection effect of Perfectlight Technology Light Protection Glasses with ordinary sunglasses available in the market, the spectral distribution and light power density of xenon lamp light passing through Perfectlight Technology Light Protection Glasses and ordinary sunglasses were tested at the same irradiation distance.

Perfectlight Technology Light Protection Glasses provide full-spectrum protection for light between 320 nm and 1000 nm, showing significant protective effects.

Ordinary sunglasses only provide protection against ultraviolet light within 400 nm, and apart from reducing light intensity, they have virtually no protective effect against blue and infrared light.
