The four-way ball valve is primarily used in the chromatographic aging operation of the Labsolar-6A fully glass automatic online trace gas analysis system (hereinafter referred to as the 6A system) and can also be used independently as a gas circuit connector.
The working states of the four-way valve are divided into two modes:
First mode: Positions 1 to 4 are connected, and positions 2 to 3 are connected.
Second mode: Positions 1 to 3 are connected, and positions 2 to 4 are connected.
When positions 1 to 4 and 2 to 3 are connected, the 6A system is in a connected state with the chromatograph. After rotating the valve handle by 90 degrees, the four-way valve switches to the second mode, where the 6A system is in a short-circuit state with the chromatograph, allowing for chromatographic aging operations.
