Recently, Beijing Perfectlight Technology Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as 'Perfectlight Technology') participated in the formulation of the group standard titled 'Test Methods for Air Purification Performance of Photocatalytic Materials and Products - Removal of Nitrogen Oxides' and achieved significant results.
Photocatalysis is an environmentally friendly technology that effectively degrades organic pollutants. In this technology, a catalyst absorbs sunlight, generating high-energy electrons and holes, which promote catalytic oxidation reactions between organic pollutants and oxygen. The advantages of photocatalysis are evident; it efficiently and thoroughly decomposes organic pollutants without the need for any chemical additives, making it environmentally non-toxic and harmless. However, the application of photocatalysis has long been constrained by standardization issues. Due to the lack of unified industry standards, variations exist in photocatalysis research experiments conducted by different research institutions, posing challenges to the application and promotion of photocatalytic technology.
To address this issue, the Photocatalysis Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Photoscience decided to establish unified industry standards, and Perfectlight Technology actively participated in the standard-setting process. After months of research and discussions, a detailed and comprehensive group standard for photocatalysis was finally developed. Perfectlight Technology played a pivotal role in the formulation of the industry group standard for photocatalysis. The company's research findings provided robust experimental data support for the standard, and its technical experts actively participated in multiple rounds of discussions and revisions, providing strong support for the standard's implementation.
The development of this group standard marks a significant advancement in China's photocatalysis technology. The introduction of this standard will drive improvements in the quality and performance of photocatalytic products, laying a solid foundation for the widespread application of photocatalytic technology in environmental governance and industrial sectors. In the future, Perfectlight Technology will continue to promote industry collaboration, not only in creating high-quality photochemical laboratory instrument products but also in accelerating the establishment of photocatalysis-related standards and the dissemination of photocatalysis-related technology to provide momentum for the rapid development of the industry.
