The 5th Chinese Academic Symposium on Photocatalytic Materials (CSPM5) was successfully held in Wuhan

The 5th Chinese Academic Symposium on Photocatalytic Materials (CSPM5) in 2023 was successfully held from February 17 to 20 at the Qingchuan Holiday Hotel in Wuhan. The conference, themed around photocatalytic materials for energy and the environment, marked a significant international academic event in this field. 

This conference was jointly organized by China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), Huaibei Normal University, Changsha University, and Jilin Institute of Chemical Technology, with co-sponsorship from Beijing Perfectlight Technology Co., Ltd.

The "Chinese Academic Symposium on Photocatalytic Materials" is a high-level academic conference in the fields of photocatalysis and photochemistry, aiming to provide a high-level platform for overseas Chinese and domestic and international experts in the field of photocatalysis to exchange achievements. So far, four sessions have been successfully held. The first Chinese Academic Symposium on Photocatalytic Materials (CSPM) was held on July 26-29, 2018, at Wuhan University of Technology Conference Center. The second Chinese Academic Symposium on Photocatalytic Materials (CSPM2) was held on November 8-11, 2019, at Nanjing Jinling Jiangbin International Conference Center Hotel. The third Chinese Academic Symposium on Photocatalytic Materials (CSPM3) was held on December 11-14, 2020, at Qingchuan Holiday Hotel in Wuhan. The fourth Chinese Academic Symposium on Photocatalytic Materials (CSPM4) was held on November 19-21, 2021, at Shanghai Hongqiao West Suburban Holiday Hotel.

The 5th Chinese Academic Symposium on Photocatalytic Materials (CSPM5) invited researchers in the fields of photocatalysis and photochemistry for academic exchanges. The conference covered topics such as fundamental research on photocatalytic materials, S-type heterojunction photocatalytic materials, doping and bandgap regulation of photocatalytic materials, morphology and facet control of photocatalytic materials, preparation strategies for photocatalytic materials, first-principle research on photocatalytic materials, environmental applications of photocatalysis, photocatalytic hydrogen production from water, photocatalytic hydrogen peroxide production, photocatalytic carbon dioxide reduction for carbon-based fuels, and photoelectrochemistry.

Mr. Gong Yuanzheng from Beijing Perfectlight Technology Co., Ltd. was a conference speaker and introduced the application solutions and advantages of the PLR-RP series photocatalytic/photothermal reaction evaluation equipment in gas-solid phase reactions, with the theme "Solution for Gas-Solid Phase Photocatalytic/Photothermal CO₂ Reduction Reaction Activity Evaluation," which received a warm welcome and recognition from many conference participants.

As a special invited exhibitor, Beijing Perfectlight Technology Co., Ltd. showcased multiple new products and star products on-site, attracting visits and inquiries from many conference delegates.

Finally, as a co-organizer of the conference, Beijing Perfectlight Technology Co., Ltd. presented awards to the outstanding poster presenters at the closing ceremony. Perfectlight Technology congratulates the successful conclusion of this conference.
