The Fourth Chinese Academic Symposium on Photocatalytic Materials Successfully Held in Shanghai

From November 19th to 21st, the Fourth Chinese Academic Symposium on Photocatalytic Materials (CSPM4) was held in Shanghai. This conference was initiated by Professor Yuguo Yu, a member of the European Academy of Sciences, from Wuhan University of Technology, and hosted by East China University of Science and Technology, with co-sponsorship from Shanghai Normal University, Shanghai University of Technology, and Beijing Perfectlight Technology Co., Ltd.

The Fourth Chinese Academic Symposium on Photocatalytic Materials

The "Chinese Academic Symposium on Photocatalytic Materials" is a high-level academic conference in the fields of photocatalysis and photochemistry. It aims to provide an advanced platform for overseas Chinese and domestic experts in the field of photocatalysis to exchange and showcase their achievements. Up to now, three sessions have been held. The first "Chinese Academic Symposium on Photocatalytic Materials" (CSPM1) was held at the Wuhan University of Technology Conference Center from July 26th to 29th, 2018. The second "Chinese Academic Symposium on Photocatalytic Materials" (CSPM2) was held at the Nanjing Jinling Riverside International Conference Center Hotel from November 8th to 11th, 2019. The third "Chinese Academic Symposium on Photocatalytic Materials" (CSPM3) was held at the Wuhan Qingchuan Holiday Hotel from December 11th to 14th, 2020.

The Fourth Chinese Academic Symposium on Photocatalytic Materials (CSPM4) invited researchers in the fields of photocatalysis and photochemistry to exchange academic ideas. The conference focused on topics such as basic research on photocatalytic materials, first-principles research on photocatalytic materials, doping and bandgap control of photocatalytic materials, S-type heterojunction photocatalytic materials, morphology and crystal face control of photocatalytic materials, preparation strategies of photocatalytic materials, photoelectrochemistry, photocatalytic CO2 reduction, photocatalytic methane conversion, photocatalytic nitrogen fixation, photocatalytic hydrogen production from water splitting, and environmental applications of photocatalytic materials. Due to the impact of the pandemic, this conference adopted a combination of online and offline formats for communication.

As a conference presenter, Wang Dong from the Product Service Department of Beijing Perfectlight Technology Co., Ltd. introduced various solutions for diversified CO2 reduction experiments on-site, under the theme of "Active Evaluation Solutions for CO2 Conversion under Multi-Field Cooperative Catalysis," which received a warm welcome and approval from many attendees.

As a co-organizer of this conference, Beijing Perfectlight Technology Co., Ltd. presented awards to the outstanding poster winners at the closing ceremony.
