The 3rd International Symposium on Electrocatalysis and Electrosynthesis of the Chinese Chemical Society (2021 International Symposium on Electrocatalysis and Electrosynthesis) was held in Fuzhou, Fujian, China from April 9th to 11th. The conference was jointly organized by the Electrochemistry Professional Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society and the Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter, Chinese Academy of Sciences, with the latter as the host institution. The conference focused on the fundamental, frontier, development, and application issues in the development of electrocatalysis and electrosynthesis, showcasing research achievements and progress in these fields. It provided a platform for in-depth exchange and discussion on cutting-edge and hot issues in the field of electrocatalysis and electrosynthesis, including new concepts, theories, technologies, and methods.
The aim of the conference was to share innovative research achievements and cutting-edge technologies in electrocatalysis and electrosynthesis, strengthen academic exchanges and discussions, broaden research ideas, and promote the transformation of academic achievements. The conference featured multiple themed sessions, including electrocatalysis, electrosynthesis, photoelectrocatalysis, theory and mechanism of photoelectrocatalysis, environmental photoelectrocatalysis, and energy electrochemistry, as well as a forum for young scientists. Experts, scholars, and industry professionals from China, the United States, Germany, Canada, Australia, Singapore, South Korea, and other countries were invited to participate in academic exchanges.
