The Perfectlight Technology Online Poster Competition ends perfectly! Who takes home the grand prize?

In late September 2022, Perfectlight Technology officially opened its Online Wall Poster Competition. By October 11th, they had received nearly 50 registration applications, and 21 wall posters successfully passed the initial screening.

Perfectlight Technology invited seven professional judges to provide authoritative opinions and ratings for the 21 wall posters. They also took into consideration the popularity of the works on the "Micro Wall Poster" mini-program. As a result, one first prize, two second prizes, and three third prizes were awarded. Congratulations to the winners!

Work 1: 卫莹莹 from Zhengzhou University

  • Average Judge Score: 90
  • Comprehensive Review: This work utilized nickel single atoms to enhance the catalytic performance of copper catalysts for ammonia reduction. It is well-characterized and represents excellent work. It is recommended to provide brief descriptions of the core content in the figures and to include small titles at the beginning of each section for better content organization.

王飞 北京建筑大学

Work 2: 王飞 from Beijing Architecture University

  • Average Judge Score: 91.67
  • Comprehensive Review: This work prepared heterostructures using MIL materials for the removal of pollutants and showed good results. The poster's layout is reasonable, and color coordination can be further optimized for improved visual impact. The supplementary video is very detailed and well-done.

祁明雨 福州大学

Work 3: 祁明雨 from Fuzhou University

  • Average Judge Score: 92.5
  • Comprehensive Review: This work prepared new quantum dot semiconductors and exhibited excellent catalytic performance. The characterization is comprehensive, and it is a highly meaningful work. The schematic diagram effectively conveys the main points, although the conclusion section could be more extensive.

  • Comprehensive Review: This work prepared molybdenum sulfide-based composite semiconductor materials and applied them in tumor therapy, demonstrating innovation. The combination of graphics and a brief overview provides intuitive information.

王爱文 哈尔滨工业大学

Work 5: 王爱文 from Harbin Institute of Technology

  • Average Judge Score: 91.167
  • Comprehensive Review: This work used MOF-derived zinc oxide molybdenum bismuth heterostructure materials for photocatalytic degradation, well-characterized with a strong emphasis on key points. The color layout is pleasant and clear, providing a quick understanding of the content.

黄赞玲 汕头大学

Work 6: 黄赞玲 from Shantou University

  • Average Judge Score: 84.333
  • Comprehensive Review: This work used a mechanical mixing method to prepare nitrogen-doped carbon-based composite materials for pollutant degradation, which is relatively novel. When designing the layout, try to avoid long blocks of text, and reduce unnecessary blank spaces around images.

This work utilized halogen elements to dope trismuth trioxide and applied it for degradation. The data is abundant, and the work is systematic. However, the results discussion section is somewhat simple; adding more text descriptions to highlight key parts may enhance it.

Comprehensive Review: This work prepared composite materials of titanium dioxide and molybdenum sulfide for hydrogen production from water electrolysis, but the amount of work is relatively small. It's suggested to add some text explanations in the poster and summarize the conclusions for each part of the images.
