From October 15th to 20th, the 20th National Catalysis Conference was held in Wuhan. The conference was organized by the Catalysis Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society and jointly hosted by Wuhan University of Technology, South-Central University for Nationalities, SINOPEC Research Institute of Petroleum Processing, and the Catalysis Committee of Hubei Chemical Society. Professor Bao-Lian Su served as the conference chair, with Professor Jinlin Li and Professor Baoning Zong as co-chairs.
The theme of this conference was "Catalysis Science and Technology for Green, Low-Carbon, and High-Quality Economic Development." The conference covered topics including the preparation of catalytic materials and catalysts, characterization techniques and theory of catalytic materials and catalytic reactions, green catalysis, environmental catalysis, energy catalysis, and the science and technology of catalytic processes in the petroleum and chemical industry. The conference program included keynote lectures, plenary invited lectures, invited talks in parallel sessions, oral presentations, poster sessions, and special academic forums.
During the 20th National Catalysis Conference, the Catalysis Committee also presented the "8th China Catalysis Awards." Professor Youchang Xie of Peking University received the "China Catalysis Achievement Award," and Professor Junling Lu of the University of Science and Technology of China received the "China Catalysis Youth Award." Mingfei Shao, Dagan Yu, and others received the "China Catalysis Newcomer Award."
Beijing Perfectlight Technology Co.,Ltd. participated in this conference as an exhibitor, showcasing new products such as the atmospheric gas-solid phase photocatalytic reaction system PLR-GSPR, the multifunctional photochemical reaction instrument PLR MFPR-I, and the photothermal catalytic reaction instrument PLS-PTSR II.
